Start with the available space
Measure the flat usable area, not the entire door, hood, or window. Leave room around hinges, handles, washer nozzles, body seams, and strongly curved edges. Choose an available size or enter the exact finished width and height required for the placement.
Design for a clean cut
Vinyl designs work best when letters and shapes have enough weight to weed and transfer cleanly. Very thin strokes, tiny isolated pieces, and excessive detail can be fragile. The EK designer uses vector artwork and converts its supported lettering to paths so the downloaded SVG does not depend on a font being installed in Cricut Design Space.
The download is intended as a production-ready starting file, but every design should still be checked at final size and test-cut before valuable material is used.
When to request custom artwork
Use the online designer for supported text and graphics. Request custom artwork when the idea involves a logo, illustration, multiple interlocking colors, a specific vehicle contour, or a composition that needs hands-on refinement.
